Outdoor project questions
Can I do a deck and a pergola at the same time?
Yes — and we'd recommend it. Integrating the structures at design time is dramatically cleaner than retrofitting. The deck framing carries the pergola post loads, the visuals tie together, and the install is faster than two separate jobs.
Do you handle permits on both sides of the river?
Yes. We work in both Ottawa (Ontario) and Gatineau (Quebec). Different rules, different processes. We handle both. RBQ Licence: 5861-8513-01.
When should I book?
Outdoor season in this region is roughly April through November. Peak demand is May–August. We book 3–6 weeks out in peak season. Early spring is the best time to lock in dates and pricing.
Can you build in winter?
Limited. Frozen ground makes footings impossible from roughly December through March. Above-ground work attached to existing footings can sometimes happen in winter.
How does the quote process work?

Why don't you publish a complete price list?
Because outdoor projects vary too much to publish a real number. Site conditions, materials, height, access, demolition, permits — they all swing the cost. The “from $X” numbers are real starting points. Your actual number depends on your actual site.
